Hacettepe University's Faculty of Medicine offers two programs in medical sciences, regular MD program and a dual degree MD/PhD program. The regular MD program is a total of six years. The first three years are core lessons with minimal clinical exposure. The fourth and fifth years consist of a mixture of clinical rounds and medical courses. Last year of medical education is the internship period in the hospital only. The dual MD/PhD program is a minimum of eight years (completion of degree may be longer depending on the field of research study). For more information please go to the MD PhD program link.
