POST – GRADUATE EDUCATION IN BASIC, CLINICAL SCIENCES AND ODIOLOGY

Medical Sciences and Clinical Sciences programs are given in the following fields.

Anatomy, Biophysics, Biostatistics, Biochemistry, Public Health, Histology – Embryology, Microbiology, Medical Biology programs are carried out by Health Sciences Institute, Pediatrics, Neurological Sciences and Oncology programs are carried out by Institutes of Pediatrics, Neurological Sciences and Oncology.

RULES AND APPLICATIONS IN MEDICAL SPECIALTY EDUCATION

1. According to Act: 2547 item: 50 the candidates are admitted to medical faculties;
2. The Specialty Exam is held twice a year, the number of residents to be admitted is announced in a booklet distributed by OSYM ( Student Selection and Placement Center)
3. After the announcement of the results, the physicians apply to the revelant faculties and are appointed as residents of that medical faculty.

NUMBER OF RESIDENTS APPOINTED

In 2006 April term 68, in 2006 September 73, in 2007 April 57 and in 2007 September 71 residents are appointed as residents.
